What you see here is a spider (or radar) chart. We are comparing the OEM bike vs different Aurora Layouts that we have in our range. There are five areas of interest.
1. Ergonomics. This is your instrument layout. Are they in a better position? Easier to see? Higher is better.
2. Service. How quickly can you access vital parts of the bike?
3. Lights. OEM lights are fully legal. In our kits not only you upgrade the lights, but you can install full off-road LED units for max performance.
4.Weight. That's a necessary evil. We remove and we add parts on the bikes and the net effect is sometimes a heavier bike, or in the case of our Superlight kit a lighter bike.
5. Racing. Get ready to race! Higher is better.

Design
It is unique! The T700 Rally kit replaces all the front plastic panels of your bike with just two Fiberglass (or Full Carbon Fiber from CFPC® at additional cost). This results in better ergonomics, easier service and access to the bike's internals. This is important either you are racing or if you are traveling as repairs can happen quickly on the side of the road!
It's high tech! This is the first CNC tower that Aurora ever produced. The tower is comprised of only four main parts and the light support has been designed to fail in the event of a high speed crash in order to protect the light structure it supports.
It's ergonomic! The OEM T700 speedo layout is very close to the rider. While this is important to keep everything compact, the OEM setup does not allow the users to expand their cockpit in an ergonomic way. Using our side panels, in combination with the navigation tower allows the front of the bike to be visible under all conditions and equipment used!
Everything comes in a foam box for your pleasure! Easy to assemble, each part is placed in a CNC machined foam box to prevent damage but also to allow you to fully enjoy the process of building this kit!
Serial numbers in all parts! Each sub-assembly has a dedicated, unique serial number. We are able to back trace down to the person and the exact date that this sub-assembly was manufactured. Our unique quality control system means ease of mind when you install and Aurora!

Navigation tower
The unique design of the CNC bracket the supports the GPS/Speedo backplate, allows the rider to either install the OEM instrument panel and a GPS or a mobile phone or move the OEM speedo to the handlebars and allow for two digital devices or a large tablet. Planning a rally? Navigation instruments can be installed much like in any other rally kit that we have in the market, allowing you to fully explore the racing capabilities of your bike.
The bracket is not only rigid but lightweight and adjustable to four different positions (away and towards the rider)
This layout allows for infinite setups and maximum customization, further enabling you to innovate as far as action videos are concerned.
The tower is assembled from CNC parts, that combines maximum strength with light weight and due to the simplicity of the Yamaha, there are no cables that will be hanging from the sides of your tower.
The screen is attached via a stainless-steel brackets, which allows to adjust the screen height, but also protect the screen and tower in case of impact.
The CNC machined side plates further improve the reliability of the system, and should you crash hard enough, the side plates will give up, protecting not only the instruments, but also the very expensive OEM light assembly.

Spider clamp science?
Yes. But this time for the light unit. The headlight of the Yamaha T700 is unique. It houses some very powerful, yet small LED units and it weights close to 2kgs. That’s quite a beast!
The head clamp is a state-of-the-art billet part, machined out of a solid block of Aluminum. This is the lightest clamp that was ever been designed by the Aurora engineers.
To offer an analogy, the T700 clamp is 40mm longer and wider from the 701 spider clamp, yet it is lighter and just as strong.
As always, we carefully design each part to give you maximum reliability. Since 2016, there are zero failures of this critical part, both when winning races and during adventurous riding. This year we went a step further and used generative design to improve the shape of the clamp, remove material where it is not needed to keep the front of the bike as light as possible, yet preserved the strength and stiffness that is required.
This clamp will serve you for the life of your vehicle, and will complement the looks of your T700.
Most importantly it will support the lighting structure and allow you to place (with zip ties) some light parts on it. Rain gear or an emergency kit, but not anything that is relatively heavy (maximum 0.5kg). Adding heavy elements on that part of the bike, will alter the riding characteristics and you would not want that! Keep it light and the front end will not feel different and the reliability of the system will not be compromised.
Ergonomics
The adjustability of the stock light is not only difficult to perfect, but there is not enough room to allow the lights to point further down, sometimes resulting in blinding the oncoming traffic.
To compensate for that we introduced a unique system that allows you to adjust the lighting structure, independently of the screen, allowing you to find the perfect spot for every riding style. Even when the bike is loaded, you will be able to adjust the light with just a single bolt.
The stock position of the instrument panel is perfect, yet the structure is known to vibrate a lot during off road riding, making difficult to focus, creating a fuzzy effect. With the Aurora T700 Rally kit, not only the stability of the system is improved, but the position can be chosen based on the rider's neeeds.
Commuting, adventurous riding or racing, the position of the instrument panel can be changed at will to give you the optimal postion for your style and needs.
Stay fully legal!
Pioneering back in 2016, Aurora Rally Equipment still leads the way in building kits for bikes without the need to modify the hard parts of your bike.
This allows you to fully return the bike to its stock condition. There is no need to modify the harness of your T700, drill or tap anything. This is just a plug and play kit.
