We have all heard plug and play and 'no mod kit’ before. Do ask before you buy, as you may find yourself trapped in the fine print that state 'Please use a Dremel to cut the frame tabs indicated' and when the time comes to claim something from Husqvarna® you would not have any chance. Modifying the frame is hands down the worst-case scenario.Â
Aurora 701 Xplorer kit is the only one in the market today that uses OEM Rally Factory parts and does not modify the frame in any way. Bonus, you can order all OEM spare parts from your local dealer.

Afraid of the unknown? Fear no more! The 701 Xplorer comes with two fuel pumps manually selectable.Â
We have added the OEM Keihin rally pump complete with a fuel warning light to ensure that you will get to the next resting point whatever the circumstances.Â
An optional third pump can be installed, ready to roll if things get tough! We even went as far as researching a fuel pump motor that we can guarantee for life (available as an upgrade).
Pre-assembled fuel lines with factory KTM CPC quick connect/disconnect couplings and dual anodised billet non-return valves. We went a step further and used two extra fuel filters in the fuel lines for your safety. This gives you the ability to donate fuel to a fellow rider through the innovative piping system.Â
Afraid that your fuel lines will get hot? We took care of that. Heat shield sleeves are installed in all the critical areas to ensure that your bike will stay cool whatever the weather conditions!

A dedicated Fiberglass reinforced ABS seat pan with a molded foam and ultra grip cover will ensure that you arrive comfy in your destination.
Made from high quality stainless steel the exhaust header, with optional rally racing silencer.Â
Want to keep your stock exhaust or already have an after market silencer? Fear no more! We routed the exhaust header so that the stock silencer position can be kept.
CFCP is a small company located in Greece and we trust no one else for all our Carbon Fiber parts. We are proud to have such a skid plate on our kit.Â
Ground clearance is maximized and you get enhanced protection of the suspension linkage. The skid plate brackets are composed of Aluminum and Stainless steel and with addition of Antivibration Dampeners your frame is protected in case of a violent impact.
The tank brackets have been design to keep your frame intact, allowing you to safely return the vehicle to its original state or even get TUV approval in certain countries.Â

What you see here is a spider (or radar) chart. We are comparing the OEM bike vs different Aurora Layouts that we have in our range. There are six areas of interest.
1. Ergonomics. This is your instrument layout. Are they in a better position? Easier to see? Higher is better.
2. Fuel Capacity. Straight forward. Higher means more fuel!
3. Protection. This is protection from the elements and is based on our own tests and feedback from customers. The highr the protection, the higher the number.
4. Lights. OEM lights are fully legal. In our kits not only you upgrade the lights, but you can install full off-road LED units for max performance.
5.Weight. That's a necessary evil. We remove and we add parts on the bikes and the net effect is sometimes a heavier bike, or in the case of our Superlight kit a lighter bike.
6. Racing. Get ready to race! Higher is better.

Head Clamp
One of the most important parts on the bike. Holding the navigation tower and electrics. When collaborating with winning teams, we know that failure is not an option. Aurora Rally Equipment has been active in the Rally scene since 2013 and our equipment has won multiple times in the mighty Africa Eco Race and in Dakar. We have always used data logging equipment to help us understand the forces involved during riding and crashing.Â
Using temperature loggers and three axis accelerometers on Rally bikes, we designed a pioneering head clamp like no other. Machined out of a solid block of aluminium, using the stock mounting points on the bike, our innovative design uses a third anchor point to increase strength and stability. Everything comes pre-assembled
Electrical, Fuel lines, skid plate brackets, tank brackets, navigation tower. Everything comes pre-assembled.Â
Ask before you buy because other 'bolt on' kits you'd have to assemble the fuel lines, the tank accessories and even all the Dzus fasteners with their retaining clips.Â
This is not the Aurora way! IThe tanks come assembled with all their accessories and all the electrical and fuel lines are ready to be installed on the bike.Â
Everything is straight forward and so the kit can be installed in two days easily on the bike!

Guaranteed for the life of the product
We can guarantee, that these are the only brackets in the field in the market designed by Mechanical Engineers. See the ‘101’ section for more details. Sure, there are cheaper ways to do it, but ask yourself what would happen if any of those brackets gives up while you are on a RTW trip or just having fun abroad. Since these brackets hold the tanks, there is a lot at stake when you are traveling, especially if you are off the grid. We guarantee that our brackets will hold, as we have tested them in extreme riding in both civil and in racing conditions.Â
We use data from extreme rallies (Morocco Desert Challenge, Albania Rally) and we always make sure that we are just not the ones riding the bike, but get several different riders to test as well. These riders at home or abroad, builders or professionals offer us unbiased opinions and feedback. We have further improved on the 1st generation design as this new design is lighter, stronger and more adjustable improving the kit that won the Morocco Desert Challenge in 2018.
Navigation Tower
We have been actively involved in the Rally scene since 2013. We happened to be one of the first companies in the field that was given access to the KTM Carbon tower.Â
So much so, that we realized that its complexity could not simply be replicated by no 'local garage'. It can only be done by a professional, composite company.Â
Thus, remaining true to ourselves and our brand’s heritage, we have designed a navigation tower like no other.Â
Easy cable access, strong yet flexible to protect your valuable gear, this tower can be transformed either to a digital setup using HighwayDirtbikes unique iPad and iPhone cases, or to a rally cockpit using the winning Aurora Rally Equipment dedicated plates.
Materials have been chosen carefully to allow the assembly to be strong, yet flexible and always keep your equipment protected, even at a crash.Â

The navigation tower is the only one in the market that is made out of different materials, getting the optimum weight and the maximum protection of the parts. The tower will deform in a controlled way in order to protect your equipment, allowing you to travel further and reach your destination, no matter what!
What's included in the kit
Turn indicators in USA
Due to different regulations in the US, the OEM front turn indicators are bigger and will not fit in the available space on the tower. It is advisable to buy a smaller LED set.
Parts that need to be modified to the point beyond return
- Rear panels have to be trimmed to match the tank profile. Please download the provided template (see above).To revert back to the OEM, the panels cost less than €100 both (P/N: 2700804100028 & 2700804000028).
- You must to cut the rear part of the front mask of the bike to remove it if you don't want to detach the brake lines from the bike.
- We recommend to trim the side frame covers. To revert back to the OEM, we can supply the covers when you order the kit.
